After the licence · DMCC

Your DMCC license is issued. Here is the digital setup that comes next.

DMCC sets the path for the establishment card and the post-licensing steps. The digital side is yours: domain, business email, website and where enquiries go. Counterparties check it early, so it should be right from the first day.

Why it matters in DMCC

In trading, the other side checks who you are before the first deal.

01

Many DMCC companies trade with partners they have never met. The first check is online: does the company name match the licence, does the domain belong to the company, does the email come from that domain.

02

A Gmail address and a placeholder page undo the credibility a DMCC licence brings. A matching domain, working email and a clear website support it.

03

We set up all of it as one system: the website, the enquiry process behind it and the data-protection setup, registered to your company and handed over.

The first 30 days

After the DMCC license: the zone steps and the digital steps, side by side.

DMCC's member guidelines ask new companies to submit their post-licensing requirements within 30 days of licence issuance and to hold a valid establishment card at all times, applied for on the DMCC member portal. The digital steps can run in parallel.

Post-licensing requirements

Within 30 days of licence issuance, on the DMCC member portal.

Establishment card

Valid at all times, per DMCC. Visas for you and your staff depend on it.

Domain matching the licence

co.ae needs a UAE trade licence and a name closely connected to it; a plain .ae needs no documents.

Business email that arrives

Mailboxes on your own domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, so counterparties receive what you send.

A website with a route behind the form

Every enquiry lands in your CRM, with the consent gate and privacy policy live on launch day.

Only licensed activities

DMCC asks members not to undertake activities their licence does not cover. The website should describe the same business.

FAQ

Questions from new DMCC companies

Which data-protection law applies to a DMCC company website?

The Federal PDPL, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. DMCC is a Dubai free zone, but not DIFC: only DIFC and ADGM have their own data-protection laws. Under the federal law, optional analytics and marketing tags wait for the visitor to agree.

Should the website name match the DMCC license exactly?

Yes, as closely as you can. A counterparty compares the name on the website, the domain and the licence. For a co.ae domain the name has to be closely connected to your licensed company name anyway.

We trade, we do not sell online. Do we need more than a one-page site?

Often a compact site is right: who you are, what you trade, how to reach you, and a form whose enquiries do not get lost. What matters more than size is that the domain, the email and the accounts belong to the company.

What does the setup cost?

Our new company build covers domain, business email and website in one fixed scope, with the starting price on the new company page. Companies licensed in the last six months pay nine months for their first care plan year and get three months free.
