Website development cost in UAE: what really drives the price.

The price of a business website depends less on the number of pages than on what the site has to do. Here is what moves the cost, why the cheapest quote often costs more later, and how we arrive at one fixed price.

Why quotes differ so much

Two quotes for "a website" can differ tenfold, because they describe two different things.

01

One quote is for a brochure: a few pages from a template, a contact form that sends an email, and nothing after launch.

02

The other is for a site that works as part of the business: enquiries captured in a CRM, data protection designed in, hosting and updates looked after.

03

Comparing them on price alone compares a picture of a shop with a shop. Ask each provider what happens to an enquiry after someone presses send.

The cost drivers

What actually decides the price.

Pages are the smallest part of the cost. What the site does with a visitor, and what it connects to, decides most of the effort. These six questions settle the scope.

What the site has to do

A brochure, enquiry capture, bookings, or a client area. Each step adds logic, not just pages.

What it connects to

CRM, email, calendar or WhatsApp. An enquiry that lands in a system is worth more than one in an inbox.

Which law applies

Federal PDPL, DIFC or ADGM rules decide how forms, cookies and analytics must behave.

Languages

English only, or English and Arabic with right-to-left layout, which is closer to a second site.

New build or rebuild

A new company has nothing to migrate. An existing site brings content, redirects and old trackers.

What happens after launch

Hosting, updates, backups and policy changes. A site without care goes stale and becomes a risk.

Market ranges, 2026

What UAE providers publish as typical prices.

These are the ranges Dubai web agencies publish for 2026. They are wide because each row still hides the question of what the site has to do. Use them to sense-check a quote, not to set a budget.

Type of projectTypical rangeWhat it usually covers
Basic brochure websiteAED 3,000 to 15,000A few pages, a template or light design, a contact form that sends an email.
Corporate or SME websiteAED 12,000 to 55,000More pages, a content management system, a blog, often English and Arabic.
E-commerce websiteAED 15,000 to 120,000+Catalogue, checkout and payment gateway, order flow and stock.
Custom web applicationAED 30,000 to 275,000+Logins, dashboards, custom logic and systems built for one business.
Integrations, e.g. CRMAED 2,000 to 30,000+From a simple form-to-CRM connection to complex two-way integrations.
Arabic with right-to-left layoutAbout 20 to 30% more developmentA native RTL layout, not a mirrored copy of the English site.
Maintenance after launchAED 300 to 2,500 per monthUpdates, backups and monitoring for a brochure site, up to content support for a CMS site.

Not just a web design quote

The cost a design quote leaves out is the cost of everything around the website.

01

Processes. A form that emails one person loses enquiries when that person is away. Capture into a CRM costs a little at build time and saves leads every month.

02

Compliance. Retrofitting consent and policies later costs more than designing them in, and the rules depend on where your company is licensed.

03

People and clients. Your team needs to run the site without a developer, and your clients need to trust it with their details. Both are part of the scope, or they become a later invoice.

FAQ

Website cost in the UAE, answered honestly

What is the average cost of a professional business website in the UAE?

Dubai agencies publish 2026 ranges of about AED 3,000 to 15,000 for a basic brochure site and AED 12,000 to 55,000 for a corporate or SME site with a content management system. An average across both hides more than it tells. The useful question is what your site must do. We publish one starting price, for newly licensed companies on our new company page, and quote every other project as one fixed price.

Why is one quote so much cheaper than another?

Usually because it covers less: no CRM connection, no data-protection setup, no hosting or updates after launch. Ask each provider for the same list: what happens to an enquiry, which law the site is built to, and who looks after it next year.

What ongoing costs should I plan for?

Hosting, security updates, tested backups and keeping policies current as the rules change. Dubai providers publish maintenance at roughly AED 300 to 2,500 a month, depending on the site. We attach a care plan to every build for exactly this, so the site does not go stale after launch. Newly licensed companies pay nine months for their first care plan year and get three months free.

How long does website development take?

Our builds take about four weeks. Data protection is designed in from the start, so it does not add a separate phase at the end.

Is a cheap template site enough for a new company?

For a placeholder, maybe. For a company that wants enquiries, a template that emails one inbox and loads trackers before consent tends to cost more later, in lost leads and in a rebuild.

Do you give a fixed price?

Yes. One fixed price for the build, agreed before work starts, against a written scope. No hourly billing.
